Family of asst chief ticket inspector, who was shot dead at CST, says celebrating the festival is their way of moving on
Every Diwali, the family of S K Sharma meets up at his Kalyan home. It was the same this year toou00a0- except that Sharma, killed on November 26, 2008, by terrorist Mohammad Ajmal Qasab at CST station, was no longer with them.

A week ago, Sharma's elder brother Rajendra Kumar,u00a0 Sharma's wife Ragini and two sons, decided to celebrate Diwali.
"The children needed to have some fun by lighting diyas and bursting crackers. Celebrating the festival is the best way of putting the incident behind them," said Rajendra. "The show must go on," he added.
After Sharma heard bullets being fired on the fateful night, he had rushed to inform the announcer about the situation. This led to the station being cleared of people faster. Sharma was shot as he was returning to his office in the TC's cabin.
