It was a nightmare of an audition for a Bhojpuri actress when the director, instead of talking about the project, crossed his limits and misbehaved with her
The incident occurred on Wednesday evening when the actress Reema Sinha (name changed to protect privacy) went for an audition at the residence of a director, who has been identified as Saif. Sinha (23) initially spoke about the script and her co-stars on the project, questions which Saif avoided answering.

He later started talking about Sinha’s physical characteristics. When the woman persisted that the discussion be restricted to the project, Saif used uncouth language with her. He then insisted that Sinha shed her clothes, as the “script required it” and allegedly touched her inappropriately.
Sinha started walking out, when the director grabbed her hands. She claims he pushed her onto his bed and forced himself upon her. Sinha managed to escape his clutches and fled. She then confided in a friend, who advised her to go to the police. Sinha then filed an FIR with the Oshiwara police station yesterday.
D Jadhav, senior inspector, Oshiwara police station, said, “The accused identified only as Saif molested her when she went for audition. His name may even be false. A case has been registered under sections 354 (assault to outrage modesty of a woman) and 342 (wrongful confinement) of the Indian Penal Code. We are trying to get footage from CCTV cameras on the premises.”u00a0
