Mumbai: A moving car caught fire on the south bound stretch of Bandra-Worli Sea Link on Wednesday evening.

Due to this the arterial sea link was closed for traffic for about five minutes.

According to traffic police officials, "On Wednesday evening a Honda Accord car caught fire on its southbound stretch. No one was injured in the mishap."

According to Worli traffic police officials, "The incident was reported at around 8.30 pm on Wednesday. The person driving the car saw flames coming out from the bonnet of the car after which he stopped the vehicle on the left side and immediately got off the car. Later the driver informed us, after which we alerted the fire brigade."
