A 31 year-old-wife of a charted accountant committed suicide at her residence in Gorai Borivli east on Saturday night. She left a suicide note blaming 'no one'.
The deceased has been identified Dhwani Nikunj Gala and she was residing along her husband Nikunj Gala and a five-year-old daughter at Shivangan building, Gorai, Borivli.
According to the police sources Dhawani committed suicide in the bedroom by hanging on ceiling fan with a dupatta at around 8:30 pm while her husband was at work. When her husband Nikunj came back from office, he saw the hanging body of his wife in the bedroom.
Before committing suicide, Dhwani left her daughter to one of her neighbours house. The neighbours did not suspect anything wrong as it used to happen in the past whenever Dhwani used to go to the market.
The local police was informed by members of the society who reached the spot. The body was then taken away and it was only after Panchnama, the body was sent for postmortem at Bhagwati hospital.
According to a housemaid, Dhwani's behavior was normal and that she did not believe that she could take such an extreme step, a police officer from Borivli police station informed.
Dhwani and Nikunj had a love marriage some 7 years back. Nikunj is Chartered Accountant by profession while Dhawani was housewife. They have a 5-year-old daughter.
A police official informed, "During house search we have found a note, which was written in English language, that "no one is responsible for the death."
"Dhwani's parents reside in Ahmadabad and we have informed them. On preliminary basis we have also registered an ADR and further investigations are going on", the official added.
