The Andheri Metropolitan Court yesterday ordered the Airport police to register an FIR against self-styled godwoman Radhe Maa under the Arms Act for travelling with a ‘trishool’ inside a flight. Police sources said the directive was issued following a PIL filed by RTI activist Asad Patel, who claimed it was against the rules to carry sharp objects inside the domestic and international airport premises.

Speaking to mid-day, Patel said, “Last August, I saw Radhe maa travel with a trishool following which I complained to the Airport police and airport authorities. Upon realising that my complaint had fallen on deaf eras, I approached the court. Finally, an order has been issued to file an FIR against Radhe Maa.”
