Plans to operate ring route services between T2 and suburbs; officials say decision taken considering the growing number of complaints from fliers against them being fleeced by the errant drivers
Taking cognisance of the myriad complaints made by fliers alighting at the international airport, about having difficulty in finding auto rickshaws or taxis that would ply them to their desired destination without getting fleeced, the BEST has proposed to start ring route services to and from T2 to places like Borivli (W), Cadbury Junction in Thane and CBD Belapur in Navi Mumbai.

These buses will operate between 6.30 pm and 2.35 am. While the minimum fares will be kept at Rs 55, the maximum will be Rs 180. The travelling time would depend on the route, wherein it would take at least 120 minutes to travel up to CBD Belapur, 100 minutes for Borivali (W) and 80 minutes till Cadbury Junction.
