Adding to the spree of dead dolphins washing ashore, another one was found by residents of the Parvati Nagar slums at Banganga in Walkeshwar on Friday.

Around 10 of the marine mammals were found washed ashore at the city’s beaches this year. 


Not the first time

A dolphin had washed ashore at Marine drive in August earlier this year. The five-foot creature was spotted at 8 pm, on the rocks opposite the NCPA building. Locals informed the authorities and soon, officials from the Solid Waste Management of the A ward and the Marine Drive police reached the spot. (Read more)
