4 children hurt as a speeding car collides with a bike in Mumbai

A speeding car collided with a motor bike in a narrow lane of a Chaul at Mankhurd on Wednesday in which four children were badly injured

Mankhurd: A speeding car collided with a motor bike in a narrow lane of a Chaul at Mankhurd on Wednesday in which four children were badly injured.

The crowd gathered near the spot and took the injured to Shatabadi Hospital from where they were shifted to Sion Hospital. The police came on the spot and arrested the driver who had also suffered minor injuries. Out of the four, three children were shifted in the emergency ward. All the children are under 15 years of age.

One child Vikash Chauhan, was left without covering his wounds for five hours. His parents told mid-day that they did not even get the first aid facility at Shatabadi Hospital and were also unhappy with the management at the Sion Hospital. They informed that the car not only injured children but also smashed a private dispensary.

No FIR has been lodged yet against the driver.
