28 new Covid-19 cases reported in Thane, active tally at 157

According to a bulletin issued by the TMC on October 12, no Covid-19 related death was reported on Wednesday. The Covid-19 fatality toll in Thane now stands at 2,162

Thane district on Wednesday reported as many as 28 new Covid-19 cases. The new cases took the infection tally to 1,96,869, according to the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).

According to a bulletin issued by the TMC on October 12, no Covid-19 related death was reported on Wednesday. The Covid-19 fatality toll in Thane now stands at 2,162.

With the addition of the latest cases, Thane currently has 134 active coronavirus cases.

10 Covid-19 patients recovered on October 14, taking the total number of recoveries since the beginning in the city to 1,94,550. The recovery rate in the TMC area is 98.82 per cent.
