In that, the dog rape case is unusual the two women who witnessed the rape on Saturday night say they will fight till the dog gets justice.

Khanna's story

Rajeshwary Khanna, the complainant and the first eyewitness said, "I was shocked to see the man (Ramesh Kamath) raping the bitch. We will see to it that he is punished severely by the court for the heinous crime."

Revdekar's account

Sangeeta Revdekar, the second eyewitness said, "Hum peechhe nahin hatenge. We will fight till the end. We will not let Kamath live in peace."


9.50 pm: Revdekar hears Khanna scream and rushes to the spot. She sees Khanna running after Ramesh Kamath, whose trousers are unbuttoned.

9.55 pm: She and Khanna beat up the man.

10 pm: She joins others and takes the accused to the police station.u00a0


The Case

Ramesh Kamath will be presented at the Girgaum metropolitan court today for the hearing of the case.

The police have booked him under Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code for having unnatural sex and Section 12 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
