Mumbai: Yoga teacher held for sodomising 12-year-old student
A 37-year-old yoga teacher has been arrested by the Santacruz police for sodomising a 12-year-old student, on Friday. The teacher was arrested after the child revealed the incident to his parents, who filed a complaint. “The accused was produced in court and remanded in police custody till June 16,” said Balasaheb Tambe, senior PI Santacruz police station.
Loan apps racket: Cops net five who tortured borrowers

103-year-old woman, son, booked for chucking out daughter from Marine Drive home
In a bizarre series of events, the Marine Drive police booked a 103-year-old woman along with her 85-year-old son and 71-year-old daughter-in-law for denying entry to her 75-year-old ailing daughter. The victim, who suffers from Parkinson’s disease and diabetes, and her 55-year-old daughter were made to wait for four hours, even after police intervention.

Mumbai: Worli resident loses over Rs 22,000 in online fraud; FIR registered
Tweeting his grievance regarding a refund he had not received after ticket cancellation, proved costly for a 31-year-old. Soon after, he was approached by a person who sought details claiming to be from the company that he had done the booking with, and lost over Rs 22k after providing them. An FIR has been registered with Worli police station against an unknown person.
