Two motorcycle drivers died in separate accidents in the Khar and Powai areas in Mumbai, the police said.

The deceased have been identified as Virendra Singh and Atul Kharose.

The Khar and Powai police have registered cases in these incidents.

Virendra Singh lived in the Kol Dongri area of Andheri. On Sunday, he went to the Khar area on a motorcycle to deliver idli flour. His motorcycle was hit by a vehicle driven by Pramila Khubchandani on 17th Road in Khar. Virendra was seriously injured in the collision. Upon receiving information about the accident, Khar police rushed to the scene and admitted Virendra to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead, police said.

The Khar police have registered a case against Pramila and arrested her.

The second incident took place on the JVLR Bridge.

Atul Kharose, a resident of Powai, worked as a security guard. Although Sunday was his weekly holiday, he was called to work due to a manpower shortage. While he was riding his motorcycle to Powai, a dumper hit him at Powai Plaza.

Atul was seriously injured in the collision. Upon receiving information about the accident, Powai police arrived at the scene and admitted Atul to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Based on a complaint from Atul's wife, the police registered a case against the dumper driver and arrested Ramzan Razak Nadaf.
