A two-and-a-half year old boy was allegedly abducted from outside Delhi’s Jama Masjid and put up for sale by three women recently. One of the women even allegedly uploaded the picture of the child on WhatsApp for sale at a price of Rs. 1.8 lakh.

According to a Times of India report, the little boy was kidnapped and taken to six different places across the capital. Police said that all the three women brought the child in succession and tried at sell him at a 'better' price tag.

Getting scared of being caught, one of the criminals left the child at a temple in Raghubir Nagar. Though she called the police and pretended to be an honest citizen, yet police traced the gang by contacting one of them for a reward. All the kidnappers, identified as Radha (40), Sonia (24), Saroj (34), and Jaan Mohammad (40) have been traced and arrested.

One of the accused, Jaan Mohammad admitted that he kidnapped the child from outside Gate 1 of Jama Masjid and while his parents were getting ready for prayer.
