Drug dealers in Ghana have put children's lives at risk by trying to smuggle into Britain lollipops with pure cocaine inside.
Hundreds packed with lethal amounts of cocaine were found by UK Border Force officers at an airport in the west African country. Around 200,000 pounds (about $330,000) of worth was found stashed inside manufactured lollipops wrapped inside colourful plastic bags, The Sun reported.

UKBF officials based at Ghanaian capital Accra's airport found the cocaine, as they cut through the outer shell of the lollies. A 29-year-old Ghanaian man was arrested after the bags were discovered inside a briefcase.
Home Office Minister Mark Harper said: "Disguising a deadly drug as a harmless bag of children's sweets shows the depths people sink to in order to smuggle drugs."
British officials have been working in Ghana for six years to crack down on drug smugglers using the west African state as a route into Britain. They have so far seized 860 kg of cocaine and around 330 kg of heroin while arresting 170 drug couriers.u00a0
