May is Mental Health Awareness Month and with the pandemic still causing distress, caring for our mental wellbeing is crucial. Here’s a handy guide to new Instagram pages to navigate these times

Therapize India is a mental health service that aims to simplify the process of seeking professional help and support for people in South Asia. Through their additional efforts, they’ve organised talks with therapists, a series of resources and tips on how to cope with the pandemic stress, as well as other educational content in the sphere.

Citta, registered as a Section 8 non-profit, has been focusing on providing affordable mental healthcare especially to Indian students. They collaborate with organisations and professionals for webinars and sessions, including conducting emotional support services for Covid-19 positive patients.

The Burrow provides much-needed assistance on topics like queer affirmative therapy, tele-counselling, how to deal with burnouts, practicing self-care and a lot more. Throughout May, they will also be offering new clients their first three mental health sessions at half the current rate.

Mindoom launched their virtual efforts on Women’s Day, earlier this year. While the original platform went live in April 2020, the eight woman alumni of Teach For India especially created this space for individuals to connect and reflect. They provide mental health workshops, training, counselling sessions and several other sessions, which are conducted by experts and professionals.
