It is always good to check for the facilities. We have a lot of turfs in the suburbs today. As a group, we often choose a venue based on the mat available. It should also be spacious enough to accommodate an 11v11 side for a game. Usually, we play every week. Facilities such as restrooms, audience space and the quality of turf have also improved over the last few years. The convenience has made the games a regular event in our group.

Football in the rains

I have been playing on indoor turfs for the last three years. Earlier, the games would happen on muddy grounds. This is a better option. Since we play football often, the rains are hardly a deterrent. But while playing cricket, we prefer having a cover. Things are much more convenient these days with facilities that are easy to access for multiple sports.
