A Bandra-based music community is celebrating the legacy and artistry of the late lead singer of Linkin Park, on his 46th birth anniversary

Rock music is rife with passion, persistence and purpose, and Linkin Park’s lead singer Chester Bennington gave fans all three. When news of his death by suicide broke in 2017, those same fans belted out Bennington’s lyrics at the tribute concert ‘Linkin Park and friends celebrate life in honour of Chester Bennington’ held a few months later. Bandra’s Adagio continues the celebration with a screening of the concert to mark the late singer’s birth anniversary this week.

Founder Aman Gujral says, “It’s open to all to listen to the music, share memories, and how they relate to the lyrics.” Musician and intern at Adagio, Viraj P tells us the screening will collectively celebrate an iconic musician and our own lives, extending the conversation to the importance of addressing mental health issues.
