Inspired by the on-going exhibition, The Spirit of Ink, that displays works by artist Lim Tze Peng, who revolutionised Chinese calligraphy, a free workshop on experimental typography is here to explore vernacular scripts as a powerful tool of expression. The workshop will be held in collaboration with Kruti Saraiya, a graphic designer and typographer based in Mumbai. Her work revolves around infusing context into letters and bringing the written-world alive. She particularly deals with scripts of Indian languages to create an equal space for them alongside English in urban India.

At September 8, 3 pm to 5.30 pm
On Dr Bhau Daji Lad Museum, 91 A, Rani Baug, Byculla East.
