We often try to search for that perfect snack to go along with the evening tea. During one of our trips to the neighbourhood kirana store, we spotted a tweaked version of the humble Gujarati snack, bhakhari.
Farali bhakhari
Vacuum-packed in a sleek box, it comes in a crisper version. While it is available in different flavours, the ones that won our vote were the Mari (black pepper) and the Bajara Methi Lasan options. Made from whole-wheat flour, it is a perfect healthy snack not just for evenings but also when one feels peckish during any hour of the day. Its smart packaging makes it ideal to carry while commuting. One packet has nine to 10 pieces of the Indian bread. The other available variants include Jeera, Pavbhaji, Farali and plain.
Cost: Rs 70 (200 gms)
Available at: Leading supermarkets and retail stores
