A city-based manufacturer has recently launched Granules n Beans, an instant tea premix (in powdered form) that offers a blend of milk, tea and sugar that can be prepared instantly using just hot water. We hesitantly tried it on a busy workday when the in-house tea-coffee maker had decided to call it a day. We were pleasantly surprised with the aromatic, warm and smooth brew. The cardamom took over our senses, adding a calming touch to proceedings. This version will come handy on road trips, especially if you cannot handle machine-made tea or the drippy, dodgy tea bag version that is served at most QSRs. The premix is also available in ginger, masala and lemongrass-ginger flavours.
