Beer lovers now have a reason to get up early, Pune brewery Doolally's Mumbai outpost has started a breakfast menu.

The menu includes Radhaballabhi with Alu Dom and Channa Dal, which are green peas stuffed puris, Bengali potato and pea curry and channa dal.


For those looking for an international accompaniement, try the Cheese Polenta served with herbed mushrooms, baked beans and toast.

One can add Sausages, bacon or both to the dish for some meat. If you can't live without eggs for breakfast pick Huevos Rancheros - three fired eggs, tortillas, mexican beans, tomato rice, Peppers, Pico de Gallo and Sour Cream.

The breakfast dishes are available with (Rs 500) or without beer (Rs 350). And though they will serve it from 7 am to 12 noon, the chef will be happy to offer the dishes a little later too we are told.

Goa's King comes to Mumbai

Whether you've taken a fancy for this pilsner or not, it is a rite of passage to sip on King's beer while in Goa. Bringing much cheer to its fans in Mumbai, the beer will now be launched in Maharashtra and Telangana, followed by Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, and finally, the rest of India.

King

Formerly owned by Impala Distillery and Brewery Ltd, it has now been acquired by Sachiin Joshi's Viikings Group, with Impala and Viiking forming a partnership, which is valid for 20 years. The stubby bottle will have a new name (Goa Kings) while the signature black label has been changed to purple.

Currently available in a 325 ml pint (for Rs 85) the mild category, it will soon be available in 500 ml and 650 ml cans in mild and strong categories.
