The Cruise India Tour Bike Week is right in the middle of the city and helps bike lovers celebrate style, speed and design and not-to-miss stunt acts
The mean machine has found its way on the city’s festive calendar as motorbikes and bike lovers knock off one whole week, solely dedicated to The Cruise India Tour Bike Week. The ongoing seven-day fiesta promises to have a good cause at heart as it flags off an 8,000 km cross country rally to support the cause of women. The rally itself will have 600 women riders busting myths, clichés and more.

Urvashi Patole, a well-known woman biker and founder of Bikerni is one of the key figures at the festival. Other well-known women related to the biking world are Anam Hashim, the youngest stuntswoman of the country and Dayala Bharadwaj who managed the feat of making a lone bike trip from Mumbai to Tehran.
A congregation of bike enthusiasts, biking clubs, stuntwomen, vintage bike owners and musicians, the bike week is slated to rev up the quotient with a variety of daily events. From the assemblage of a Transfigure Custom House bike by Adil Dumasia, vintage bike shows to a weekend full of stunts, and a photos and videos exhibition of several bikers called The Bikeography, the average bike lover can look forward to a lot, this week.
