Long-distance running is the fantasy of many but the difficult question is how to get started. For all who have been eager to start running but were unable to take the first step, the Mumbai Pinkathon promo will be an opportunity to hit the tarmac.
Before the run with Milind Soman, there will be a Zumba workout with Sudipta Mondal. An easy-to-follow intermittent cardio workout based on Latin rhythms which gives you toning, strength and resistance training. Another session with sport therapist Divya Sharma will guide participants on how to cool down by focusing on actively lengthening the shortened and worked-out muscles to prevent injury after the run.
These exercises also focus on maintaining a correct posture and muscle action and overcome issues like spurs and muscle imbalances thereby assuring a better performance.
