Get close to nature at the Young Naturalist Camp organised by The Gerry Martin Project. They offer two and four-night stay options. Depending on your pick, there are many hands-on activities that kids can be a part of. The camp will begin with a familiarisation of the site and introduction to the pets and farm animals on camp. This will be followed by a fun session of slack lining and camera trapping useful for wild trails. For avian enthusiasts, they will have a bird-watching session with tips on IDing birds and using the right equipment. There will also be scavenger hunts, aquatic exploration with dip netting, scrapbooking and exhibit making for a fair.

If you are looking for a short trip close to the city, the location of Kamshet is apt for a little adventure. This camp will offer a mix of physical exercises and brain teasers too. One can learn kayaking, Burma bridge crossing, ziplining and more. This is a foundation programme, hence the level is easy. Kids will also be taught survival skills such as fire making, safe water gathering, rock climbing, trekking, tent pitching, camp making, team building and cooking. Wild high in a national park

A tiger camp is a great way to understand the behaviour and habitat of the majestic Bengal Tiger. Hosted in Tadoba, this camp has been designed to make children aware and be one with the forest and explore natural history by using interactive learning methods on field with their guides. The method of teaching is visual and collaborative, which is perfect for a wildlife lesson. Big splash in the ganga

One of the most popular hill stations in India for summers, Mussoorie is where you can escape the heat of the city. On offer will be valley crossing, rappelling and rope climbing. If you wish to explore the forests, they will organise a trek through pine, oak and deodar forests that lead up to the Surkanda Devi temple.
