Dr. Judy Kurianski, a sex therapist said that it’s like making a stew of sexual ingredients, ABC News reported.

She said that there is stress, which causes tension, and anxiety and energy, and a massive outpouring of chemicals in the body – adrenaline and endorphins.

It''s a powerful concoction of chemicals. She said that everyone knows the runner’s high, adding that Olympian athletes certainly have it as it’s orgasmic for them.

Psychologist Kuriansky, who has attended several Games, said that the environment is very isolated as they are gated off and others have to have passes to get it.

He added that they eat together in large groups and that’s why they are psychologically turned to an earlier sense of camp or college.
