My boyfriend does not like me talking to other guys

Dear Diana,
I went to a party last week with my boyfriend. We were in a huge group. So he stuck to the boys and I was with the girls. But it was fun. When I went out for a while (to avoid the loud music and cigarette smoke) one of the guys walked out with me and we began chatting. On seeing this my guy got mad at me. He thinks I am a flirt. As it is he always suspects me whenever he sees me talking to any male. I don’t think I deserve to be treated like this as I was not doing anything and he is still going on and on about it. What should I do?

Dear Ritika,
Your guy is basically insecure and a jerk. May be he was high so he gave you a piece of his mind. But his reaction was definitely over the top. Give him time to cool off now and to rectify the situation, give him some space. He is a hotheaded guy and if he is going to flare up every time he sees you talking to a guy, you need to dump him. Think over it and knock sense into his head. Ask him do you react in such a manner when he talks to any female? He needs to let go his ego and highhandedness.
