Early Life of Varender Singh –

Varender Singh is a Punjabi guy who was born on the 8th of November 1972 in Delhi. His father's name was Sardar Harpal Singh Miglani, and the name of his mother was sardarni Jaswant Kaur. Varender was a very ambitious child, and he was mostly had a great ambition to watch sports. He was a sports lover, and he primarily focused on watching badminton and cricket. He had always been very focused on living his dream, and as a child, his dream was to become a cricketer. He had a tremendous love to watch cricket, so he became very ambitious to learn how to play professional cricket. He eventually became part of the school team and then to captaincy and send his High school. 1990 hit right to play for each state in Ranji trophy, but unfortunately, he could not get selected. After pursuing his education, he moved out to get his job, but he was not successful. Varender then moved out to the United States in 1994, and since then, his life changed.

Punjabis have special talent that they can make a name for themselves anywhere in the world with their hard-work. Varender Singh is such a prime example, who moved to USA 22 years ago, achieved success with his photography skills and made all Punjabis proud. Based on our telephonic conversation, let me present to you all - Varender Singh aka Channi Miglani who was born in 1972 to his parents Sardar Harpal Singh Miglani and Sardarni Jaswant Kaur in Delhi. After graduating from Khalsa College, Delhi University he set out to seek employment but got no positive results. Coincidentally, his father who at the time was a religion teacher in a Sikh Temple in USA, invited him over. Consequently, in 1994 Varender became a permanent resident in USA after completing a prior successful trip to the country in 1991. While there, he did not have to struggle much for work as he found a job with Circle System Group, a company that manufactured Helmets for football players. He repaired broken footballs for them until the year 2000. Due to pressure from parents, Channi left the football repair work and found a new job at the United States Post Office where he worked as a Clerk for one year. Varender expressed that when terrorist attacks happened on The World Trade Center of America on September, 11th 2001 it became very tough to find a job for 3 to 4 months after that. Then luckily one day I received an offer from Cigna Healthcare Insurance Company who hired me as a Machine Operator. After seeing my hard-work they made me their permanent employee in 2002 and till date I'm working with them as a Senior Associate. These days Varender Singh is not only working for Cigna, but also known on social media for his art of photography by his alias name Channi Miglani.

Photography is many people's profession but for me it is a way of expressing my feelings. I use my experiences and understanding of life for creating my portraits. Clicking pictures and then editing them to reflect my inner thoughts about nature, life, an event or a character is my general objective for my audience. All my content takes hours of finding and research. I'm proud of this art. I sometimes get criticism for my photos but I take all love and hate in a positive manner and use it to grow more.

Through my photos, I depict my favorite characters in such a way that my editing skills stand out. I respect this art and am very fond of photo editing. My photos are related to past and current affairs all around the globe. I've been called all - stupid, insane, bizarre, passionate and crazy, for my photos but I don't let that bother me since getting angry is not in my personality. All my uploaded photos on social media so far have emotions and feelings connected with them. I'm really thankful to those who have shown me love and appreciation for my work. I don't hesitate to congratulate anyone on their success and always welcome feedback with an open mind. I look for positives in everything around me.

Not just this but Varender Singh is also very connected to his culture and his roots. He mentioned to me that when he comes across any pure talent in his lovely Punjab he tries his best to promote them. Nowadays Varender Singh is residing in Palmer, Pennsylvania USA very happily with his beautiful wife Manjeet Kaur and 2 adorable daughters Parminder Kaur and Harneet Kaur.

Life as a Photographer

He had a constant love for photography, and throughout his education, it did not leave his love for photography behind. Soon after, he started taking amazing pictures and beautiful memories through his lens, which had got him great recognition on different social media platforms; he was a very handsome man who was very dedicated to what he does. Soon after, he ensures that photography will be a profession for him, but it is the only way to which he could express his feelings.

Varender Singh is surely a great man because he knows the magic of creating art through the camera's beauty.
