But, the lockdown made even the big production banners move to OTT from theatres. Now, that people have got the taste of watching films in the comfort of their homes, they barely want to go out and invest a lump sum amount in watching a single film. The cost of a monthly subscription to these OTT platforms costs half the ticket price of a single film. Tauseef S views this as an opportunity for small filmmakers or artists. Production companies even with minimal budgets have the chance to make people view their content online. Many local and regional artists also got various big breaks they deserved for a long time.


2. The enormous reach of Instagram reels
- It has not been long since reels got introduced but the popularity they received these days is huge. From celebrities to commoners, everyone has got into the practice of making reels as currently, that is the easiest way to reach a larger audience. These are just 15 to 30-second clips but they are enormously interesting and catchy. It is currently the best means of promotion for any film, song, brand, service. So, instead of shooting one large promotional video, Tauseef S feels it is better to make several small reels of the similar subject with different dimensions.
