Fitness is a trait that most individuals try to run away from only because it demands a lot of temperament to stay fit. As more and more people are caving in to the sedentary lifestyle and taking their bodies for granted, the threat of multiple health disorders and life-threatening diseases is imminent. Shane Makan, a fitness enthusiast from the States, has made it his mission to transform as many people as he can, from being an inactive sloth to s fitter human being. He has been widely successful in his endeavours so far but explains that he hasn't even covered the tip of the iceberg.

An active sportsman from the start, Shane Makan's childhood wasn't confined to handheld gaming consoles and indoor games. His family stressed interpersonal development and always advised him to play with others both outside and inside the house. Shane Makan grew up watching the golden era of bodybuilding and was mesmerized by the sculpted physique of many renowned bodybuilders of that era. He became inclined towards lifting weights and spent long hours in the gym sweating it out. His efforts soon bore fruits as he participated in many local bodybuilding competitions and won them as well. Each competition acted as a gateway to something grander until he qualified for the coveted title of bodybuilding and won the championship of IFBB Pro.

He partnered with Hammer Fitness and began his career as a fitness instructor to guide individuals on their journey to fitness. He has trained hundreds of clients and supervised many high profile clients and celebrities training from day one. Shane Makan is now extending his reach by leveraging Instagram to provide fitness training services via the platform.

Shane Makan opens up about this change in approach to inculcate the habit of fitness. He says, "Getting up and going to the gym is the hardest part for most clients who think of it as a chore. Virtual fitness training eliminates that need to a large extent. Gyms are still a quintessential part of fitness programs but not every beginner needs a sophisticated set of equipment to start his journey. I am trying to eliminate all the points of excuses by making fitness ubiquitous and devoid of the need for a large number of exercise equipment. The human body is the biggest equipment itself and if you can master the bodyweight exercises, I assure you that your body will become a living example of physical fitness."
