A 15-year-old whose life revolves around cricket and pretty much everything related to the word, Sajil Khandelwal mesmerises everyone at an early age with his sparkling presence, started his journey at such an age where most kids barely get stern about anything. 18-year-old Sajil who learnt every tips and tricks of the game from his late father Anoop Khandelwal got infatuated of the game at a very green age of 8. When he embarked on the journey, he had no fascination to the game but then he got so devoted that it had become a passion for him.


Even then Sajil was prevalently known for his cricket in the local circle as a consequence of his sterling performances with a precipitous uniformity. For Sajil Khandelwal Cricket was everything and he was bleakly disappointed when he couldn’t make it to the final 16 of the UP junior team. Instead of disheartening he was certain that he would definitely conquer in the time to come.



A right-handed batsman playing for the team Grace XI, Sajil began his career in 1998 and was famous for his accurate off-spin balls. Sajil’s influence in the team’s success holds a significant role in the last two years. He made it to the credible of UP under-15 and under-17 teams in the year 2000 and 2001. Although he had failed to enter in the under-16 category, he blasted to fame during a CK Naidu Tournament at Bareilly in 2000. He was recognised for his brilliant knocks of 50 and 44 runs respectively.


Sajil didn’t stop here and continued to strive for endowment and fulfilment of his dreams. From cricket he moved to becoming a model but always had a defined interest in acting. Soon after he made his name in print media and walking ramp for renowned names in the industry, he got a break in a movie where he got to showcase his innate love for acting in the movie “Confession of a Rapist.” Sajil displayed his tranquillity by owning the character, opening more gates to becoming a grounded star.
