How did you get the Inspiration and Motivation to become a professional bodybuilder?
Well, I have always been passionate about the sport from my childhood days. I even used wrestle since I was 5, Initially, after wrestling for UTA, I decided to keep my body in shape and take it to the next level. I was introduced to the professional world of the competition world by my close friend and my coach and mentor Andrew Vu and at the very first glance, I fell in love with the sport. I loved everything about the sports be it the stage presence or the neck-to-neck. Fortunately, I got a lot of support from my parents as well. They never stopped me from going ahead with bodybuilding as my career choice instead they always encouraged me with whatever I wanted to do.
What made you fall in love with the sport of bodybuilding and how has been your journey so far?
When Andrew Vu, my friend, and my mentor introduced me to the sport for the very first time, I was completely taken aback and at that very moment, I decided to pursue this as my career. I started working extensively with a dream that I will be making it big ay someday. Focusing on my vision, I started working hard on my body and developed much-needed skills. I competed at the NPC North Americans In Pittsburgh in the year 2014 and won class in the men’s physique division and I also earned the prestigious IFBB Pro League Pro Card. Following this success, in 2016, I participated and won my first pro show and earned qualifications at the 2016 Mr. Olympia held in Las Vegas. The journey for me, so far, has been a good one but a lot more things are yet to come.
Can you give us an insight into your workout plans?
As a professional bodybuilder and an athlete, it is foremost for you not only to attain a perfect body but also to maintain it. To ensure that, I rigorously workout, and my drill session includes a plethora of extensive exercises. My session comprises of 4-5 sets and 15-20 reps each set and apart from this, I also ensure, I do a few heavy set and moderate variations as well as supersets (4 sets). I regularly practice Cardio and Abs as they are, without a doubt, an integral process to attain a body of that level. Fitness is something that is not just about sweating for hours in the gym but also about having a proper diet and I am particular about what to eat, what not to.
What are your success mantra and piece of advice you would like to give to the upcoming generation who are wanting to pursue Bodybuilding as a career?
Work Hard, Focus and Enjoy what you are doing are a few things that I always abide by, and for me, this is the Success Mantra. I would like to give a short piece of advice to budding bodybuilders- Don’t get frustrated if success is taking time, it will come, one just needs to focus and work on themselves and keep developing their skills. Also, youngsters should avoid drugs and work on achieving good health as ‘Health is Wealth.’

Currently, my foremost priority is to bring the best package to the IFBB Pro stage. I feel I have an advantage of being called a “giant-killer” in my category.
