The story of the film is based on the lives of 4 different girls and the challenges and hardships they have to face in life. An Indian Girl also stars Rajvir Singh Thakur, Abhi Khurana, Mac Lara, Mayur, Shishu Singh, Tribhuvan Mishra, Shiva Talreja, Balram Atude and Yuvaan Goyal. Produced by VPR Entertainment, Priyanka Khurana Goyal's film is directed by Sourabh Lakshkar. Sourabh is also the author of the novel, 26/11 A Love Story. The music of this empowering film is composed by Sahil Jonas. Yashwant Sahu is the DOP in-charge and Sumit K Menaria along with the director have written the short film's screenplay.
The short film has already won several accolades at the national and international level, especially because of Priyanka Khurana Goyal's performance. Priyanka won Best Actress awards at Virgin Spring Cinefest, Best Instanbul Film Festival, and Uruvatti International Film Festival. It won the Best Short Film awards at Indo French International Film Festival, Calcutta International Cult Film Festival, Uruvatti International Film Festival, Kolkata International Micro Film Festival, Cult Critic Movie Awards, Golden Sparrow International Film Festival and Virgin Spring Cinefest, Golden Fox Awards 2021 and Tagore International Film Festival.
