Industrialist & Art Lover Rashmin Majithia Adds To His Art Collection, A Goldmine Of 125+ Classics by Legendary Author Jivram Joshi!
Rashmin Majithia
It is said a picture is worth a thousand words, and while many art lovers would go for something that has visual appeal, Mr. Rashmin Majithia added thousands & thousands of words literally to his outstanding art collection. Yes, Mr. Majithia acquired the rights to over 100 literary titles penned down by the legendary Jivram Joshi in his lifetime. These literary titles are a series of children’s classics like Miya Fuski, Chhako Mako, Adukiyo Dadukiyo & Chhel Chhabo… stories which Mr. Majithia himself loved as a child growing up in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

About the author, Jivram Joshi was actively writing and publishing his work from the 1930s to the 1960s, but his popularity soared after India’s independence. Some of Joshi’s works have also been adapted into plays and movies, like the 1978 film Miya Fuski 007 starring veteran Indian actor Johnny Walker, and later Chhako Mako with Gujarati superstar Siddharth Randheria.
For those who know Mr. Rashmin Majithia, he is as successful as an industrialist as he is as an art lover and collector. He strongly believes art is timeless, and so one morning, when he was thinking about the things he enjoyed as a child, his love for the literary works of Jivram Joshi, came to mind. He then looked up the works of his childhood favourite author Jivram Joshi but was not very happy with what he saw. He then pondered that if old paintings and sculptures could be restored, why not literature, & from that moment on, Mr. Majithia decided to be the torchbearer in restoring this gold standard of classic children’s literature to its former glory and popularity.
Mr. Majithia’s first step was contacting Jivram Joshi’s heirs, which led him to appreciate the life of his favourite childhood author so much more. He soon made his extensive collection of Jivram Joshi books accessible to children of all ages at www.zenopus.in, where thanks to the latest publishing technology available, the pictorial storytelling these children's books offer, has been vastly improved for a delightful reading experience.
Now given Rashmin Majithia’s venture into films with Coconut Media Box as its Cofounder, this acquisition of Jivram Joshi’s literature is a goldmine that will inspire the creation of entertaining next-gen audiovisual content like plays, movies, serials, animations, comics, merchandise & even story-based gaming in the near future.
