He is the first Indian who is FIBA 3x3 certified in India. This speaks a lot about his expertise in this game. He gave up his lucrative corporate job after working with top companies. His inclination towards sports led him to choose basketball as it has remained his favorite sport. He headed to Singapore to get the training and since then it was no looking back for the basketball player and coach. He was the first from India to get the certification for FIBA 3x3 and excelled in it.


He got the chance to play different national and global tournaments thus gaining his fame and name in the world. His expertise in the game helped him to get offers for coaching and soon he shifted for the same. He was able to help his team win several basketball tournaments in 2019 before the Pandemic broke out. He even worked as a head coach at the NBA Basketball School apart from other teams at the national level tournaments. That speaks a lot about his excellence in the job.



With international repute in Basketball, he was able to remain a part of great initiatives like the Fit India Movement. He made sure to promote this program across the lengths and breadths of the nation. He also owns a few sports academies in cities like Delhi, Noida, and Siliguri with his brand name KAGA Basketball Academy. He is leaving no stone unturned to start a 3x3 basketball league in the North East to promote basketball. He also founded one NGO known as 'Sab Khelo Sports Foundation' where he teaches wheelchair basketball players and the players of underprivileged society without asking a single penny. After staying in Delhi for a decade, he returned to his hometown Siliguri with lot of experience.
