Thousands of women will take part in this program and seek blessings from Lord Shiva. As part of the Koti Deepostavam, several spiritual activities are held daily, such as special pujas, the blessing speech of the deans. Several pontiffs, spiritual trainers and religious heads will grace the occasion.
Apart from the common devotees of the Koti Deepostavam, which was started with the sole aim of promoting Hinduism, the most famous saints in India, politicians and film stars will attend the event.
However, Koti Deepostavam was halted last year because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, devotees are doubtful about this year’s Deepostavam, which is a grand affair.
Now, the cases are declining in the country, and everything is heading towards a normal state. But, the signs of the Third Wave have already begun in some places. Amid these conditions, devotees are eagerly awaiting the decision of Narendra Choudary, who suspended last year's Koti Deepostavam solely for the sake of social welfare.
On the other side, some section of people, who know about Narendra Chaudhary's innovative ideas think he may come up with some new plans this time. However, it remains to be seen what decision will Narendra Choudary take in such circumstances.
