The singer believes that over the years the music industry has seen very drastic changes. “Music is a never-dying industry. Even today we hear songs that are 5 decades old and we still love them,” said Ranina.
The music industry has changed from cassette to Saavn real quick. “I grew up listening to Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore da on radio channels and cassette but now after the revolution, we have the option for numerous applications that allows us to listen to songs without much pollution or hindrance,” said Ranina.
Also, the advent of social media platforms has given an equal chance to all those singers who couldn’t stand a chance to come to the stage or the industry. The social media application has broken the wall between untouched talents and the composer.
However, Ranina also believes that auto-tuning has a little drawback to singing. Although with its help many of the singing errors can be rectified but then one should also learn to improve their singing skills.
The singer has majorly been a part of Telegu and Tamil movies. Ek Baar, Ammandu Let’s Do Kummundu, Banthi Poda Janki and many more are some of the most hit songs sung by her. Working with music composers like AR Rahaman, Harris Jayaraj, Devi Sri Prasad, etc. made the singer more professional.
