n a star studded event where every big company laid a red carpet for the celebrities to unveil their product. The German automobile giant BMW invited the God of cricket 'Sachin Tendulkar' to raise curtain from its flagship car 'BMW 7-Series'.
BMW 7-Series:
For those who waited for long to own this status symbol car, can now get it at their nearest show room for Rs 1.1 crore - 1.5 crore. The new BMW 7 Series sedan is based on the all-new Cluster Architecture (CLAR) Rear Wheel Drive platform. However, the saloon isn't dramatically different than the outgoing version in terms of dimensions but does get an evolved design language and looks sharper and more sophisticated.
BMW X1:
After 7-series, BMW launched another breath taking four wheeler car BMW X1. Currently being offered only with a diesel variant, the new BMW X1's price starts at 29.9 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), and goes all the way up to 39.9 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). While the new BMW X1 is now also available for bookings, deliveries will begin only in April, 2016.
BMW G 310 R:
Along with the two luxury cars the company launched fashionable yet strong bike 'BMW G 310 R'. The G 310 R makes its German influence felt in terms of styling borrowing design cues from the BMW S 1000 RR and R 1200 RR with the resemblance strong on the headlamp and air shrouds.
The switchgear is in-line with the bigger BMW bikes and it gets an all-digital instrument cluster on offer. In terms of powertrain, the G 310 R uses a 313cc single-cylinder DOHC engine tuned for 34bhp at 9500rpm and 28Nm of torque at 7500rpm, while paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
