Home-grown handset maker iBall intensified the war in the budget segment with the launch of its new Andi Avonte 5 smartphone at Rs 5,999 in India.

The smartphone sports a 5-inch display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Andi Avonte 5 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and offers 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded upto up to 32GB via microSD card.
iBall Andi Avonte 5 packs a rotating 8-megapixel autofocus camera with dual-LED flash and a front-facing shooter. On connectivity front, the smartphone supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and Micro-USB.
The device gets its juice from a 2150mAh battery. iBall recently launched its mSLR Cobalt 4 at a price of Rs 8,499. iBall had set the unique selling proposition by providing a camera which can support four detachable lenses that comes bundled along with the phone, an industry first in India.
