Google has started rolling out a security patch for Pixel and Nexus devices for the month of January. The tech giant reported that the January security patch would offer fixes for 95 vulnerabilities. The vulnerabilities are listed on Android security bulletin.
Google is making the January security update in two different levels. The updates will patch security bugs faster than before. All Google devices including Nexus and Pixel will get the January security patch with all fixes. Most Google users are expected to get the update in the form of an OTA.
Recently Google Pixel owners have reported issues with audio distortion and battery on their phones. It is still not sure if these patch updates will address such issues or not.
