All those who have been fascinated by the world of birds — their lives, their long migrations and their beauty — have an opportunity to learn more about them. TheBombay Natural History Society is conducting a two-day workshop for beginners, introducing them to bird watching.
The workshop will include an audio-visual talk by an expert on how to identify birds, followed by a demonstration of preserved bird specimens from the BNHS collections. It also includes a field trip where participants will be introduced to several techniques to identify various species of birds including the opportunity to learn to identify birds by their different calls.
