WhatsApp beta update version 2.17.86 for Windows 10 Mobile and Windows Phone 8.1, brings additional details on individual chats. A user can know how many texts there are, how many photos and GIFs have been shared.
Also, a new Size Tab, organizes information on the bases of photo and videos sizes shared in chats, which enables users delete media-heavy chats to clear up space quickly.

A revamped 'Status' feature
WhatsApp made the following annoucement in it's blog dated February 20, which read, "We are excited to announce that, coinciding with WhatsApp's 8th birthday on February 24, we are reinventing the status feature. Starting today, we are rolling out an update to status, which allows you to share photos and videos with your friends and contacts on WhatsApp in an easy and secure way.
