A new research revealed that eating a very early dinner or skipping dinner at times may reduce hunger pranks and alter fat and carbohydrate burning patterns, which in turn helps reduce excess fat from the body. The study was conducted in Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Louisiana, US.
The study found that eating anytime between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm followed by an 18 hour break kept appetite levels high throughout the day. This was not the case for eating in between 8.00 a.m. and 8.00 p.m.
Researchers said that human body has an internal clock and many aspects of metabolism are at their optimal functioning during day time. Eating in alignment with the body’s clock and during earlier part of the day leaves positive impact on health and body metabolism. Having an early dinner also improves metabolic flexibility and leads to a rise in fat burning during several hours at night.
The preliminary findings from the study suggested that for the first time such a thing has been noticed in humans.
