Treatum.com was a start-up conceptualised in a coffee shop where three partners: Amol Sonavane, Ayub Siddiqui and Ravi Shet, were exchanging ideas on healthcare and IT. They decided to start a site that combines both. Treatum.com delivers microsites to registered doctors and hospitals, to help them reach patients at a global level.

From developing site content to handling patient appointments, the site does it all. Registered doctors and hospitals can get listed on the site in a minute’s time.
Patients can post queries as well on their Ask an Expert section or call on their round-the-clock helpline. They can even search for doctors and book an appointment as per their requirement through the site as well as post reviews/comments on the doctors/hospitals they have visited.
They offer a Save your Money option on treatments to help patients get the best deals on skincare, haircare, eyecare among other treatments.
Its co-founder Ravi Shet says, “We want to create a strong connection between needy patients and the right doctors, by providing information to both the parties. While there are sites providing medical information, we create microsites which are equivalent to a website wherein doctors get their own pages.”
Medical listings are free of charge for registered doctors and hospitals. Three packages are available to registered doctors: free, basic and advanced. Patients are not charged for providing information on doctors and hospitals.
Treatum has plans to expand to doctors in India’s Tier 2 and 3 cities. They are also working to reach out to doctors based out of India.
