Swedish car maker, Volvo will be launching its premium sedan, S90 in India this November. Currently pre-booking of S90 is said to have started in India and Volvo is expected to begin delivery of the product after it is officially announced.
The car will only be available with D4 diesel engine option and is said to compete with the likes of the latest Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A6, BMW 5 Series and the new Jaguar XF. The car is based on Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) technology and will arrive in the top-end T5 Inscription trim initially. It is also packed with 8-speed Geartronic Automatic transmission gearbox. S90 is expected to arrive with a price ranging between Rs 57 lakh to Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom).
Those waiting to buy the luxury S90 can expect a number of high-end features like Bowers & Wilkins sound system, navigation and climate control, Nappa leather upholstery, touch screen climate-control interface for rear passengers and numerous drive modes.
Volvo currently sells the S60, S60 Cross Country, V40, V40 Cross Country, XC60 and XC90 in India.
