The much anticipated and awaited Nokia Android phone is set to launch during the early months of 2017. The Android phone will also mark Nokia’s return to the smartphone industry after a gap of nearly 5 years. This time Nokia is not only coming back with Android phones, but this time it is also about Android with a difference. A report published by India Today tech stated that initially Nokia will not join the hardware rat race that other Chinese Android phone makers are involved into.

Nokia is not willing to fight about the higher megapixel cameras, thickness of the phones or gigabits of RAM. Instead, it will follow the ‘classic Nokia approach’ and try to win the hearts of consumers by offering them a better phone experience. Nokia aims to retain brand loyal customers by providing valuable service like usual.

An HMD official revealed that Nokia wants to solve the real problem of mobile users by providing better quality camera, better battery life and a better screen experience. This kind of approach is very similar to the approach Nokia had some 15 to 20 years ago when it was the king of mobile phone industry. True that Nokia phones did not look as classy and trendy as Samsung or Sony, but in real use it offered a better experience, thanks to its software.

Though Lumia could not live up to the expectations of loyal Nokia lovers, so with Android launch in 2017, the company can probably utilise the similar set of hardware and software to find success.
