The Ministry of Schtick is a group of Mumbai-based comedians who perform stand-up and improvised comedy. The group comprises Karan Talwar, Brij Bhakta, Varun Thakur, Aadar Malik and Neville Shah. The comedy collective is the brainchild of Ash Chandler.
Speaking about the event, Aadar Malik says, “We don’t have a script, we don’t rehearse. We just talk with the audience and on their demand perform impromptu comedy. In the first 10 minutes, we realise what kind of audience is in front of us and we continue in that form.
We change topics as per the demand of the audience. We all come from different backgrounds but we love to do this show and that is what is keeping us together. We have performed in Sri Lanka and will be going to Australia soon and other countries as well.”
