How to chill this summer

After a tiring year, summer vacations come as a respite, not just for your kids, but also for grownups. Plan a trip, enroll in a workshop or simply participate in fun activities to spend time with your family and to unwind, as you break away from monotony.

To relax
> Mahabaleshwar: Located about 120 km southwest of Pune, it is a hill station that boasts of one of the few evergreen forests in the world. The
landscape abounds with lush hills, valleys and points. To escape the hot summer of Pune, this is an ideal place where to enjoy pleasant weather. Along with the green spots, a Shiv temple, which is made of stone, is a must-visit and one must not miss the strawberries here as well. You can travel by road, on a bike or car or else take one of the many buses that ply between Mahabaleshwar and Pune. Accommodation is available for as less as Rs 600 per day.
