Agent 47 is back and he is as cool as ever as the new Hitman, if you don’t mind a few flaws i.e.

It’s been a few years since we saw Agent 47, but now he is back, with just one mission. However, if you haven’t played the Beta version yet, there are a total of three missions — two training missions where the agency has you tested in simulated missions.
The story takes you through the early days, when Agent 47 is recruited by the International Contracts Agency.
The first one involves killing a notorious thief Kalvin Ritter, aka The Sparrow in Australia. The Sparrow mission is played twice. The first one is guided, meant to teach you the ropes of the game. The second play-through gives you a free reign on how you want to kill the target. There are negative points for killing non-target individuals, so you may want to avoid those, which is hard, as alert staff may raise an alarm against you. In fact, we killed every person on the Sparrow mission, before killing the target. There was no achievement unlocked but it was fun.
The second training mission is a little harder. You have to take down Jasper Knight at a Russian Air base. There is extra security, but your handler Diana Burnwood will help you pass the mission.
After completing the training missions, your next one is based out of a runway show in Paris. There are two targets and in true Hitman fashion, you can kill them in multiple ways. In fact, you can play the mission several times over to try every possible method. The game also has opportunities, where you can press F1 and follow an opportunity to complete the assassination. This is interesting as it opens up a lot options to kill targets. For example, you can listen in on the palace staff to figure out that one of the targets Viktor Novikov drinks a particular cocktail and the recipe for that cocktail has been misplaced. Following that opportunity lets you learn the cocktail and in turn poison the target’s drink. You can then follow Viktor to the toilet and drown him in the bowl. It’s a nice system that keeps the game interesting. Being connected online gets you more missions on the same map with other target. Some have to be killed in specific ways to earn bonus points.
There are some negatives though. A lot of the non-playing characters look the same. Same moustache, same clothes and same job, it feels like the developers cheated a bit there. There also seems to be a lot of bald people, which explains how Agent 47 manages to disguise himself so easily. Though the game is fun and refined, it still feels unfinished, especially for people who have played the beta.
The next one will release in April and there will be a total of seven episodes culminating in a physical disc version of the game releasing early next year. We say buy the entire season, rather than each episode as it comes out. Judging from the missions available, Hitman will be a game you will be playing for a long time, at least till a suitable replacement is found.
