New Delhi: Homegrown handset manufacturer Celkon launched a budget range smartphone on Thursday in India at an affordable price of Rs 4799.

The device has been adorned by dual SIM facility. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat handset. Millennia features Q450 a 4.5-inch display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. The Celkon Millennia Q450 is clocked at 1.3GHz quad core CPU and 512MB RAM to compliment its operations.

Celkon's device gets a 5-megapixel camera on the rear surface, whereas the front camera is fixed with 2-megapixel camera for selfie enthusiasts.
The smartphone has been blessed with 4GB of internal storage capacity onboard. It also gets a microSD card slot which can be used to expand the memory capacity to 32GB. The device is packed with 1800mAh battery to keep it running.
The Millennia Q450 is available in gold, grey and white colour variants and gets a textured black panel for differentiation. It measures 135 x 67.7 x 9.73mm and weighs 147gms.
On the connectivity front, the new smartphone gets support for 3G networks, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, microUSB and Bluetooth.
Potential buyers will be able to purchase the devices across the country from the retail stores. Apart from this, the company has stayed any word on whether it will offer the option of online purchase to its customers.
