August 15 is a day to celebrate freedom and to add to the cheer, the city offers myriad options including brunch, Independence Day gifts and musical events to ensure you have plenty of ways to celebrate. Here's a checklist of some of the places to head to on this day

Celebrate I-Day in style

How to make Tri-coloured Panna Cotta
Ingredients:
300 ml Fresh cream (cooking cream)
60 gm Sugar
10 gm Gelatin
50 ml Orange crush
50 ml Kiwi crush
30 ml Water
10 ml Vanilla essence




Preparation
> Mix cream and sugar in saucepan till the sugar melts.
> Soak gelatin in water till it swells.
> Melt the gelatin in a microwave or a double boiler.
> Add the melted gelatin to the cream mixture.
> Divide the mixture into three equal measures.
> In one part add the kiwi crush and pour into the glass. Keep in freezer to set for 15 minutes.
> Once set, pour the plain mixture at least 2/3rd of the glass and keep to set for another 15 minutes.
> In the remaining mixture, add the orange crush and pour into the glass.
> Let the mixture set.
> Serve cold.

Fruits for Independence
Gift the Tri-colour fruit bouquet or eat it by yourself on Independence Day. The bouquet includes orange, white and green fruits.
